The PL series of motors is tried and tested and literally millions have been sold*. Reliability, simplicity and good value ensure they are still as popular as ever.

The most reliable, discrete and simple method is to clip one of these directly to the underside of a Peco Turnout. Requires a rectangular hole 40mm x 24mm.

Available are: PL-13 accessory switch for switching frog polarity, PL-15 microswitch to control frog polarity & to operate panel lights and PL-12X above baseboard fitting adaptor plate.

Can be operated by A280-15 SPDT centre bias switch, PL-26 passing contact switch or PL-17 / PL-18 probe & stud method.

It is recommended that a Capacitor Discharge Unit such as Peco PL-35 or Gaugemaster CDU is used to ensure positive switching of the turnout motor.

PL-34 wiring loom is available for solder free connection or the female part of FB2 connectors can be used. Alternatively a complete ready made wiring loom, with switch, 280-70 is available.

PL-10W low amperage standard pin motor and extended pin motors PL-10E and PL10WE also available
